True Street Class

Cars must be street legal according to Wyoming laws and have plates and insurance. Must have working lights including turn signals must be on DOT tires and no slicks! 275 in the max tire size for a race style drag radial such as the MT 275 pro. Any radial OK for 17 inch wheel or larger. Must have the ability to complete 25 mile cruise, like is done in Deadwood SD. Must have factory glass, trucks can have Lexan back window if there is a roll cage exiting through it. No fiberglass front end fiberglass hoods are OK. Must fit the spirit of the class, no race cars!
Please remember if you compete in the True Street Class you will not be able to race in another class. We are limited for time and want all racers to have as many runs in as possible!
The pro drag radials are a very good tire and that is no reason to limit the size on them. This is a street class we put together for all the street cars to come have fun and race for cash. We don't want a "race car" that can make the cruise come in and smoke everyone.
**As posted last year
To avoid any confusion around the tire size for the True Street, Central Wyoming Motorsports is hoping this will clarify tire size. Any size radial tire is permitted. This includes drag radials and street tires. The only drag radial that will have a size restriction are pro tires. This includes Mickey Thompson E T St. pros and Hoosier Pro radios. These will be limited to a 275/60/15. If you have a 17 inch or larger will you can run any radial tire you want. All radials must be DOT approved.
